IFMK Attorneys Bhairav Radia and Julie Koerner won summary judgment in a Section 1983 case against a warden and jail officials alleging that an inmate had been housed under unconstitutional conditions of confinement in a county jail. After reviewing the record, the court found that the inmate had insufficient evidence to prove that the conditions he complained about – lack of outdoor recreation, access to natural light, and adequate ventilation – amounted to objectively serious deprivations under the Fourteenth Amendment.
