Colin Mills joined IFMK Law from Inman & Fitzgibbons’ (I&F) Champaign, Illinois office, which he has managed since 2012. He will continue his practice of Illinois Workers’ Compensation Defense from there. Colin has successfully argued cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, many Circuit Courts, and the Appellate Court of Illinois. Colin concentrates his practice in the defense of workers’ compensation cases and represents a variety of clients including insurers, third-party administrators, self-insured entities, municipalities, school districts, trucking companies, food and beverage distributors, agricultural equipment manufacturers, construction companies, restaurants, retail stores, nursing homes, moving companies, and hospitals/medical care facilities, just to name a few. Colin frequently presents on issues before clients and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and is also a regular contributor to the Mid-West Truckers Association’s monthly newsletter, providing updates on Illinois workers’ compensation case law and legislation. While Colin is based in Champaign, he defends his clients throughout the state of Illinois.
