Maggie Jones joined IFMK Law as a Senior Associate in December, 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Maggie was an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, as well as a law clerk for the Honorable Moira Johnson in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Maggie focuses her practice on employment law and civil rights law. She has extensive experience representing government agencies, public employees, and judges against Section 1983 claims, tort claims, and claims seeking declaratory, injunctive, and mandamus relief. In addition, Maggie has defended administrative decisions in administrative review actions involving physician, nursing, gambling, and firearm licensing, and she has successfully defended constitutional challenges to several statutes and government actions. Maggie has represented public employees in three jury trials in the Northern District of Illinois.
