Paul Tsukuno joined IFMK Law from Inman & Fitzgibbons Ltd (I&F). He has been licensed as an Attorney in Illinois since 1978. His legal career has been litigation based, starting with his position in the Cook County States Attorney’s Office as a Criminal Prosecutor. He advanced in that office to Chief of the Municipal Division, in charge of over 200 attorneys and all suburban municipal districts. In addition to his criminal prosecution of cases, he defended County officials at Cook County Hospital and at the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. His last position was Deputy Chief of Complex Litigation in the Civil Actions Bureau.
At IFMK, he continues to litigate cases in all State Circuit Courts and Federal District Court, specializing in employer negligence, subrogation, insurance and other complex civil matters. Paul is also a former Adjunct Law Professor at John Marshall Law School and Chicago Kent Law School, teaching the courses of Trial Advocacy and Civil Procedure: Pretrial Litigation.
In his free time, Paul enjoys the company of his eight grandchildren, which leaves him much exhausted until they leave.
