Partner

Jane May, Partner, joined IFMK Law from OKGC Law. Jane has been practicing law for over 30 years and focuses her practice on employment law, civil rights, and general governmental liability defense. She has extensive litigation experience in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. She also defends clients against charges filed at the EEOC and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. She regularly counsels clients on best employment practices as well as compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Open Meetings Act (OMA). She has successfully defended public bodies in cases alleging claims involving the First Amendment, Fourth Amendment, Fourteenth Amendment, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FOIA, OMA, and tort law.
